How is this different from menu-bar-only tools?

Menu-bar-only tools stay on the Mac and typically need that Mac app installed and running. Nowdex is native on iPhone and iPad — you do not need a Mac installed or running first — and also offers a Mac menu bar or window, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and iCloud sync across your devices.

Where is my data stored?

Sign-in credentials stay in the device Keychain, and in iCloud Keychain when you enable sync. Usage is fetched on your device from Codex, Claude, Cursor, Grok, or Kimi. If iCloud sync is on, connection metadata — which providers and accounts are linked, display names, and sync identity fields — can sync through your iCloud. Nowdex does not store passwords or usage on its own servers.

Do I need a Nowdex account?

No. Connect an existing Codex, Claude, Cursor, Grok, or Kimi account. Nowdex does not create its own user account.
